Reports and sharing

Create and share a field report

Turn a saved field, its acreage, notes, exclusions and markers into a PDF another person can open.

What you will haveAn A4 PDF saved to the phone and ready to share without the recipient needing AcreTrace.
AllowAbout 2 minutes

Before you start

  • Check the field name, holding, reference and notes before producing the report.
  • Review the map and markers for anything private or commercially sensitive.
  • Remember that a report records the AcreTrace data; it does not certify a legal boundary.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Open Export Centre

Open it from Home, Field Register or the individual Survey details screen.

  2. 2

    Select one field

Search by field or holding if necessary, then select exactly one survey to enable its individual PDF report.

  3. 3

    Choose Save PDF field report

Android asks where to save the document. Choose a folder you can find again and confirm the filename.

  4. 4

    Open or share the PDF

Use the phone's Files app to open the saved report, then use Android Share to send it by email, messaging or another service.

  5. 5

    Treat the file carefully

The recipient does not need AcreTrace, but the PDF may contain field locations, notes and commercially sensitive information.

If you get stuck

If the PDF option is disabled, make sure exactly one survey is selected.

If you cannot find the file, repeat the save and choose Downloads or another familiar folder.

If you need several fields together, create a holding-summary PDF or combined KML instead.
