Before you start
- Measure or import the relevant field, route or distance first.
- Decide what the client needs to see and check the measurement limitations.
- AcreTrace records the job evidence; it does not calculate a price or create an invoice.
Step by step
- 1
Open the saved record
Find the field, route or distance in Field Register and open Survey details.
- 2
Find Optional contractor job details
Ordinary farm records can leave this whole section blank.
- 3
Add the client and reference
Enter the client name and the job, quote or work-order reference used in your own paperwork.
- 4
Describe the work
Use a short practical description such as north hedge cutting, fence renewal or mowing area.
- 5
Save and create the PDF
Save field details, then use Export Centre to create the field report. The optional job details appear with the measurement evidence.
If you get stuck
If you need rates, tax, signatures or invoicing, continue to use your normal quoting or accounting system.
Check client names and job references before sharing because they may be commercially sensitive.
For per-acre work, use net usable acreage only when the recorded exclusions genuinely match the work specification.
